Kylie Jenner is not only the best dressed at the Met Gala 2019!

She is also not just one of the worlds most talked about socialists, but she holds one if Instagram’s highest followings, is Fortune 100’s youngest billionaire, and is the owner and voice behind her company Kylie Cosmetics, and now Kylie Skin.
Kylie Cosmetics has over 20.4 million followers on Instagram and growing. But how does this company obtain and maintain this level of following through social media channels. I decided Kylie Cosmetics would be the perfect example to help explain measuring what matters on social media.

Social Media is a very power tool for marketing in todays technology driven society. however it is finding how to engage your audience and customers though these social medial channels that many company’s find challenging.

There are three main measured to measuring what matters on social media including the following metrics; Growth and engagement, Content strategy and Audience Quality.
Growth and Engagement metrics analyses how engaged not how many. Kylie Cosmetics posts tutorials, product information, reviews, and shows real people using the products, they don’t post irrelevant posts. For example, Kylie Cosmetics has the perfect platform to post gossip on the Kardashians to gain engagement, HOWEVER they do not do this. They keep their content very professional and relevant to Kylie Cosmetics.
Content Strategy metrics measures if strategies are working, and are people sharing content. Kylie cosmetics has this sharing and success in strategies through customers reposting and sharing products and personal tutorials using the products.
This reposting and sharing of products leads us into the next measure of what matters on social media, being Audience Quality Metrics. These reposts and shares show loyalty within the Kylie Cosmetic customers.
Basically, what I am demonstrating this blog post, is the power and importance of knowing what matters on social media.
It is an art to figure out exactly what your audience and customers what to see, and to then uphold a consistent following is the next step!
So my question to all of you… what captures your engagement when on social media??? and Why???

I think the example you used here is so relevant and makes this concept really easy to undertstand
